The island is extremely easy to reach. The small but excellent Roatan international airport is serviced by direct flights from Houston (United), Atlanta (Delta) and Miami (Taca). There are multiple connections through San Pedro Sula. Please check the relevant websites for the latest schedules.

There are also direct, non-stop charter flights from Italy (Milan), and Sunwing has charter flights from Toronto and Montreal between November and April.

Cocolobo is just a fifteen minutes taxi ride from the airport meaning you can be in the water for a relaxing afternoon swim or dive. The island is also served by frequent flights from the mainland (the smart new airport in La Ceiba, connects with the international airports in Tegucigalpa and San Pedro Sula). There is also a twice-daily ferry from La Ceiba which takes about an hour and a half.
