Roatán is an island in the Caribbean, about 65 kilometres (40 mi) off the northern coast of Honduras. It is located between the islands of Útila and Guanaja, and is the largest of the Bay Islands of Honduras.
Roatan is the largest of the Bay Islands offering white sandy beaches, a healthy reef for scuba diving and snorkeling, and a relaxing island pace of life.
Roatan is easy to access with direct flights from Houston (United), Atlanta (Delta), Miami and Dallas (American) and direct flights from Canada with Sunwing and Air Transat. With daily flights from Latin America, including San Salvador, Guatamala City, San Pedro Sula and Tegucigalpa on local airlines Sosa and CM Airlines.
